What Is Vertical Filter Press？

HVPF vertical automatic press filter is a new, high eficiency, low energy consumption, environment friendly solid-iquidseparation equipment independently developed by our company. lt uses pressure from slurry pump, gravity of materialand rubber diaphragm rapidly to press liquid out of slurry, achieving high efficient separation of soid and liquid.
Multi-layer plate, vertical filtration, multi filtrate chambers run up and down synchronously, hydraulic self-drive, newcompact design. it can continuously automatically finish the operation of fitering, extrusion, washing, drying, dischargingand filter cloth regeneration.
HVPF vertical automatic press filter can be applied in mining, metallurgy, chemical industry, pharmacy and envirormentalprotection.

The pressure can reach 2.0 Mpa, which means this equipment have a good performance on various sticky tiny materials to achieve lower cake moisture.
The equipment uses hydraulic control, runs stably, reliably and safely.
The equipment uses PLC+ touch screen+ automaic valves, and is easy to operate due to high degree of automation.
Lower cake moisture content, high capacity, and the efficiency is much higher than traditional ones.

How Does a Vertical Filter Press Machine Work

Filtrating Phase

After closing filter board frame, material slurry will be pumpedinto filter chamber, then through filtrate soft tube and arrive at general filtratetube after that discharged; meanwhile, it forms filtrate disc in filtrate chamber.

First Extrusion

High pressure water enter into upper chamber through high pressure watertube, then make separating film moving to filter disc for pressing,so that to extrude liquid out from filter disc.

Washing(optional)

Washing liquid is pumped into filter chamber through material slurrytube; then passing through filter disc and filter cloth and thenflow into discharging pipe.

Second Extrusion

Similar to fist extrusion

Air Drying

Through filter disc air current to carry water content, reduce filter water content to the largest extent.

Filter Cake Discharge

When finished air drying, filter plate assembly will open andlet the filter cloth rolling, filter cake drop down from filter press with filter press with filter clothand at the same time enter into washing device to finish recycle.
